Seeing and Transparency: Seeing is bad, transparency is good.
Telescope: Zhumell Z12 12″ Dob
Log: Observed with Tele Vue Ethos 13mm, 115x and Orion Edge-On 9mm, 167x. It’s medium bright, medium large, with a condensed core. The core is nearly starlike, it becomes starlike with averted vision, and the galaxy is visible with a very faint haze with direct vision. It almost gives the impression, especially in the 9mm, of being trilobed, with one detached lobe at 11:00, one at about 3:30, and one at about 7:00.
