Example light curve plots for AAVSOnet

This series of plots showcases the cleanliness and scientific potential of data collected by the AAVSOnet remote telescope network.

While creating new content for the AAVSOnet webpages, I adopted a friendly tone, focusing on exciting the reader about the potential of submitting an AAVSOnet proposal and making the program seem compelling to beginners. You can see the result of this influence in the minimalist axes and quirky, bold fonts of the plots below. The colors were chosen after quite some deliberation, trying to come up with a bright color palette which both respects the traditional BVRI photometric filter colors and remains legible for people with colorblindness.
